I live a couple miles north of I-10 west of barker Cypress. I ride most of the drainage ditches/creeks around and various pipelines and highlines. Basically, if it is not too muddy I hit the dirt wherever.

Has anyone taken their bike through the Anthill of Terry Hershey park? I used to ride my mountain bike there a lot and have thought about taking the WR there.

Nice WR. I just picked up a WRR a few weeks ago. Not too far from you actually, just up Barker almost to 290 (Barker Cypress & Tuckerton).

I love mine, I have more fun on it than a street only bike. I'm slowly mod'N her up. Installing new chain and sprockets tonight.

The first pic is up at Sam Rayburn (between Lufkin & Jasper), our family has a lake house and farm up there.

Second pic was down a pipeline between West Houston Airport and Hwy-6. Just me goof'N off after work one Friday.

Yep, I've thought seriously about selling my Triumph the last couple of weeks. I haven't done very many mods since I picked it up a couple of weeks ago. I just put an FMF Q4 on it. The previous owner put some ASV levers on, otherwise it's stock. A fender eliminator is on my short list though. I did order a Wolfman Enduro tank bag (looks like you have one in the pictures) and DS helmet Sunday though.

I've had the bike since the end of summer. It cam with the Wolfman tank bag, saddle bags and front fender tube bag. Right now I'm not running any of them.
It also cam with:
skid
rear rack
nobbies (not a fan of the tire but am of the nobbie)
Zeta handguards w/turn signals
heated grips,
all the smog delete done

I've added:
ProTaper bars
Righteous Stunt clutch lever (absolutely love it, #1 part I would recommend)
bar end mirrors clamped to bars just outside triple tree
Delta 4 full exhaust
DIY axle sliders (skate board wheels)
Seal Savers for front fork seals
Shorted the tail section (removed extra plastic till I can build a new tail section)

I hadn't seen the skateboard wheels/axle slider mod before. I might have to look into that and shortening my stock fender.

Are you running 7/8" bars or did you go oversized? Probably a set of 1-1/8" Pro Tapers, some bark busters, and shortening the fender somehow are my next mods.

I don't remember where I found the axle slider mod at but it cost me about $25 vs. $160 for billet from 50Stunt. $20 for wheels and less than $5 for all thread, nuts and washers from Tractor Supply.

Yep, picked up a set of ProTaper 7/8 from Cycle Gear, I wanted 1 1/8 but didn't want to spend the $ on changing the mount.

I'm thinking about shortening my front fender just haven't.

For some reason I like doing low budget builds. When I first decided I wanted a WR250R/X I intended to get a Graves exhaust and Power Commander 5. But after buying the bike I have settled for a full Delta 4 exhaust from craigslist (that needs repacking) and a FMF EFI Controller.

Installed chain and sprockets last night, 14/49. It gave the bike a little more off the line and off the jump. Driving in this morning on Hwy-6 I looked down and I was doing 89mph. So I ripped the throttle to see how fast I got before my turnoff, 98mph was all I could get. I bet if I tried again I could break 100. Before the chain & sprocket the best I got was 94. Now, I know the speedo isn't 100% accurate. But until I get my handlebar cell mount so I can GPS it, that is the speed reading I've got. But it is quick, for a 250. This weekend I may put the 13 back on it just for fun.
