Pilot Road 4s

Anyone rolling on these yet? My PR3 front is ready to be retired and I'm a firm believer in the 3s over the 2s. I've ridden through oil, water, snow, ice, sand, gravel and never had enough slip to bother me or lay the bike down.

The Pilot Road 4 has been available for a while now. From the Customer feedback I have received the impression is that the Road 4 is better than the Pilot Road 3, but it should be. Tire technology almost always improves and the most current model is typically better than it's replacement. That being said, a lot of riders preferred the Road 2 tire over the Pilot Road 3. In the sport touring category, I think Michelin makes the best tire. It's also offered in GT spec for larger bikes such as the Concours or K1600GT BMW. However, it is more expensive than the Dunlop Roadsmart II, Metzeler Z-8, or the brand new Bridgestone T-30 sport touring tire.

True. I still love the pilot road 2.. I have yet to put the pilot road 3 or 4 on my bike.
