thanks.

imho, 13:57 was where it got close, lol. glad I'm not able to see behind me on the track... that guy got checked up pretty hard when I blew the bus stop - serious evasive action. I'm just happy he kept it upright (and out of my rear tire).

Wait till you see what happens in Lightweight on the 30th at GSS. That wouldn't even come close to makin' the Hall of Shame.

the pass at 6:40 was close:

it's a little hard to tell from the vid, but I had to brake quite a bit to avoid him hitting me.

thanks, guys!

I don't get to see the rear footage until I get home and start editing, and there's always a surprise or two in it. definitely worth the investment.

He was probably expecting you to take the inside line instead of staying out on the concrete. I know that's what I would have expected you to do and then I'd have a clear outside line to attempt a pass.

Pretty good lap times though. I saw at least a 1:51 something in one video. You're steadily getting faster.

that's defintely a fair point. I do think he'd have done better to hold the line he was on a bit longer before swinging back inside. I'm pretty sure you'd have done just that (as do I, when I'm faced with that situation).

I pointed out that pass solely in the context of j_e_hurst's and redford's comments earlier in this thread. it was a much tighter situation than the 14:10 incident in the 3rd session video, and similar to what redford was saying about LW at GSS (also similar to the situation I put the other guy in at 13:57 in that same video). it didn't really bother me much at the time on the track, but it was still a memorable moment from the day.

I thought everyone was riding pretty clean out there - a few erratic lines (including my own) and some drag racing down the straights, but nothing that warranted a complaint to a track marshal or anything like that.

I agree. I didn't see anything really alarming anywhere. Still looked safer than level 2 any day! lol

Is there a reason these are recorded in slow motion?
