anger managment needed towards bicyclists

i think i have anger management issues when it comes to cyclists. bunch of tree hugging prius driving hippies. today on gave me a "biker wave" and i had the barely suppressed urge to beat him with hot exhaust pipe lol. my issue is they dont seem to know their place. im not going to throw wings on my motorcycle and try and fly. bicycles are child toys not legit vehichles. they dont need to be blocking traffic on a speed limit 45 road. like i said i think i need help..or a hippy beating buddy either works

I think both his vulcan and bicycles are vehicles.
I had a motorcycle when i was a little kid so does that make them childerns toys as well.
That being said its bull when the bicyclist block the road.

What is their place?

I've been riding my road and mountain bicycle for over 22 years and have ridden motorcycles for 15+. When I am on the bicycle, I do give the "biker wave" when a motorcycle comes by. When I am on the motorcycle, I also give give the "biker wave" to cyclists as well.

To me, it's about us sharing the road. We are both out there enjoying our hobbies. Each of the respective groups will have the bad ones that give the group a bad name / image. I try not to generalize.

Best of luck with the anger management.

This statement is obviously by someone who has never driven in any other country. Bikes/Scooters/MCs are the main road vehicles in every other country. You are the prefect example of an American.

I believe there is also some kind of intelligence blocking material in the helmet and cute little spandex pants they wear. For one thing, as a male, I'd never wear something that tight that shows the crack of my arsh and pajarito y huevos in public. Can't do it. Try wearing a spandex Speedo in Galveston. You're gonna get beat up. But it's ok on a bike? LOL

I've been working at NASA for more than 10 years. It's hard to believe that people with advanced degrees wear that - PLUS - some of the absolutely stupidass things I see them do when they're riding around the site. I've just seen so much of it.

One of my superiors actually killed himself by testing how powerful his road rights were against an SUV doing 50mph. He was riding as the leader of a group and he had the right of way to make a left turn (not a designated left-turn-only lane) at an intersection ON A HIGHWAY. It was such a stupid move on his part, knowing the details from the other riders that witnessed it. I guess technically he still has a Masters in Engineering. Doesn't do his beautiful widow and two handsome little boys, 7 & 9, any good.

You're rights won't jump out and stop an SUV hauling in the other direction if you pull out in front of it. For the life of me, I can't figure out why supposedly "intellectuals" can do such stupid things that fly in the face of the most basic guidelines of staying alive.

Same thing goes for us motorcyclists. IF - - something goes wrong - you fall down - bad! Be careful and don't trust your rights to protect you!

ok, I'm off the soap box now......

They sometimes don't hear us coming on back roads. They also block the fast lane on 290 with their bicycles tied to the back of their cars. I split em again.
