You know LUcar, at the end of the day all those bikes are just amazing, the ZX-10, s1000rr, 1199, rsv4, rc8r....It comes down to what you would like to have in your garage and to what you are willing to spend.
Just get one !!!!!

I guess I'll just go for the best deal I can find, though nothing beats getting a brand new machine. Thank you Zxalan for sharing those vids.
It seems the choice is made. Now gotta make some cold calls in the morning
Eric we'll see what I come up with on the next ride I will post!

How often do you plan on riding? If it's every weekend then go ; but if it's once every 2 or 3 months like me then get whatever makes your hard! Everyone knows that bikes are cheaper to fix and easier to maintain as compared to the European counterparts. Japanese bikes tend to take wear and rear of riding high miles better than European bikes! I doubt you will be riding every weekend and putting huge miles on this bike. So with that said, I would go for the Factory. If you surprise the out of all us and actually ride a lot then it's a no-brainer to go with the zx-10r.

Best "deal" is the ZX10R.... Its as good as any of the ones in the vids, if not better... But if you're wanting to stay "euro" then the BMW I believe is the best one out... I mean I love a 1199R but, I just think the power is not there, the maintenance is too high and the quirks of riding one of those all the time may get old, especially if your a hyper miler like Gary.

Maintenance is pretty pricey on the BMW as well, dealer oil changes/services etc etc are required for warranty validation but... I think its the most bike you'll get for the money in the euro format. I got mine at Gulf Coast BMW for $17,500 OTD for a loaded S1000RR.. (not HP4). You can probably even get a better deal then that but......( they had to do a dealer trade for me to get the color I wanted so....they didn't deal as much).

I do like the RSV4 as well but...the power is just not there... No way would I buy any new liter bike with less then 170rwhp...

I agree with you on the HP rating sir, the more we go at this the clearer it gets.

Have you looked at the EBR 1190RX?

It looks like Houston Superbikes has one in stock.
