If you're really serious about getting back on two wheels it's really hard to beat the performance per dollar aspect of a newer ZX10.

See, Patrick knows whats up! 11+ ZX-10R is hands down the best bang for buck liter bike out right now IMO. I'm about to turn 30k miles on mine.

Wire mod is old news, I have an ECU flashing kit that allows me to make changes and reflash the ECU as many times as I want whenever I want.

So why don't you tell us which bikes are on your list and I will tell you why the ZX-10R will be a better choice

What happened to the BMW? It blew up and they wouldn't warranty it or something? (I must have missed the back story)

But I agree, the ZX10r is the best bang for the buck bike out right now.

I'd either by that, the BMW or the new ZX14..(if you're not doing track days and )

The big question should be where to get the new bike from. We don't want a repeat of what happened last time.

If you're bound and determined to stay Euro than imo it would be:
S1000RR
1199
RSV4
In that order.
It'll be good to see you back on a bike, been a while.

Duc 1199R. Not much more than the 1199S if you plan to install full exhaust and carbon pieces. These come with the 1199R.

What ever Peterbilt is making that only has two wheels it should have the exclusivity that you are looking for but I have no idea on what would be the best accessory I mean helmet for the bike.

Thank you patrick. It has been, I like the order you put the bikes in and you're right at putting the beemer up top. But looking at the black scheme on the aprillia and all the techie stuff it comes with makes it the best bang for the buck. The 1199 is amazing

Thank you magzx. I dont want to put that much money in a bike that I'll pack with tons of miles. I want the stealth color but the don't make the base model in that, so the base is either red or white, the stealth comes on the 1199S. The R is a bit much more that I'm willing to put in.

No sugar bear.. the S1000RR is the base model. So no pretty blue nor akraphovic sound system with it.
But it is a great platform to personalize, already with such a great engine (if it doesn't blow up again lol)
