SOLD OUT! I can't believe how fast they sold out. Every level for the two days and even though they're having two level 2. They (Ride Smart) most have a mailing list of other regions. I'm on the waiting list it sucks.

How? A lot of the regulars are young riders who can't easily come up with that money so fast. I was at MSRH today and could believe when I heard they sold out. If I go back tomorrow-weather permitting- I'm going to talk to Dave about it. If true why not have more than two days?

Dunno, but someone mentioned that they are the only Org doing a MC day at COTA. So my guess would be there were a lot more ppl than just the locals who were waiting to buy. I was on the website at 5:50 and paid by 6:05. Then got back on around 6:40 and every level both days were sold out.

IMHO Ride Smart should offer half of the spots to regular clients. I'm going to talk to Dave about it.

Rode COTA last year, I talked with a couple of guys that flew in from New York State. They had shipped a couple of Duc's into Austin the week before. That should give you a idea of how sought after the ticket is. Last year the military also recived a block of tickets for their people. ( I think)

People were also selling spots on ebay last year as well. I'm sure the same thing will happen again this year. I'd bet quite a few people bought spots with no other intention than to scalp their spot.
