weird/creepy feeling....

as i rode home from my Gf's place in league city, back to my place in the galleria...everything was normal until i got to 59/shephard exit. a truck buzzed by me, not anywhere near me, but it made me really nervous the rest of the ride home...i got a weird, "i'm gonna wreck" feeling...and the rest of the ride home, i went about 60mph. and couldnt wait to get off the bike......any of you guys feel this way.

it just didnt feel right riding tonight....

Last time I had a bad feeling, I went out and flipped my Vette. Since then if I get that feelin, I will stay in.

I do get that "i'm going to wreck" feeling some nights, so I just take it easy and concentrate more without over doing it.

I definatly know the feeling. About every 6 months or so I get this. The only way I can describe it is that the bike feels "tall." Last Saturday was a prime example. I just rode it out and went home.

Anytime you get that disjointed, looking over your shoulder feeling you should park the bike as soon as you can. Second guessing while riding interrupts and delays all of the sub conscience lessons we've learned and use every moment we're riding. Another way to put it is that you can feel the need to ride so safe (for example), but actually be less safe, if this makes sense at all.

Earlier this week I was out of my natural rhythm and thought for sure I was flatting out. Nope, just me.

i think psychologically after all the stories about people passing on their bike it will get to you ...
so use it to ur advantage and focus more on ur riding and be more aware of ur surrounding...

Yes, sometimes it might be an awesome day to ride and for some reason I just can't get into it... This usually happens to me more so after I hear of someone going down and death....

Everytime you swing your leg over that seat, you have to know that you are taking a risk and that day might be your last.... Like the others have said, you got to follow your gut and trust it... no one is gonna call you a punk, *****, etc. you gotta take care of you....

I get this feeling when I'm driving into work...then I turn around and go home and it's gone.

Honestly I think we all get this feeling from time to time. Especailly when we hear of all the incidents that have been happening lately.

If you can not get your head cleared and focused solely on riding then it is time to shut it down and get off the bike until you can again. I have dealt with the exact same feelings and I struggled with it for about a year. It is your life and your bike and if it is not time to ride then don't. If anyone has to say to you about it then give them the finger to let them know they are an idiot.
