Interesting ride to work today.

I was riding my bike to work on the Beltway this morning between 290 and 249, and this dude on a 250 crusier passed me. I was going slow because there were 2 sheriffs dept patrols in front of me. I guess the guy didn't see them cause he just kept flying. So one of the Sheriffs proceeds to get on the guys like he's gonna pull him over. (I'm talking 4 feet from his back tire) But he never pulls him over, so Instead he just rode his to "scare" him I guess. I just thought it was kind of a move, I mean if you're gonna pull him over for speeding, then fine, but don't ride his for 2 miles and risk his life just to scare him.

Probably running his plates? Either that, or finding out exactly how fast the rider was going by pacing him.

Except an Apache helicopter. An Apache helicopter has machine guns AND missiles. It is an unbelievably impressive complement of weaponry, an absolute death machine.

Yeah, I mean the Sheriff was just doing his job. Just don't think he should've been following so close.

He did once, the cop followed.
The dude was in the right lane cause he was about to exit on 249 I guess. Right before he exited the cop sped off.

I agree about it being a move. I've had cops pull up on me like that before and before they can flip their lights on I just put on my blinker and start to pull over. Figure why waste their time and mine. If they want to stop me, they'll pull over with me, if not, they'll go around. So far I haven't had one stop with me.

It's a move for sure. I've been buzzed by them countless times in my life. I was in the T/A not too long ago and this happened. It was like 2 am in the morning, no one on the road and a Tahoe ran up on my with the lights and sirens on and then just went around me. Effing stupid, because I was in the fast lane and went to pull over and he almost rear ended me trying to fly around me. It was pointless I was only doing 70 mph he just wanted to with me.
