Josh use to ride the GSXR 600 on the track, but then I came into the picture and started riding that, Thank you Josh by the way!!! And now he rides the GSXR 750 on track, he said there is really no difference!!!

well thats what I heard that they are the same chassis pretty much just that the 750 has a little more power plant! thats why I thought that I would go with th 750!!

Depends....I have personaly learned allot from Josh. helped on both the 600 and the 750. They each have allot similar parts and can fit onto either bike. I have riden both and found no differance, except the fact there are aftemarket pegs on the 750 and they put my legs up higher and makes it more comfortable for my knees. I think the 750 has better take off power than the 600, but as far as an endurance, like track days, I love the 600!!!

what you outta do is spend $3-4k on a used track ready bike. and spend the rest of the $ on trackdays and then a professional riding school.

try craiglist...i saw one the other day pretty cheap and in good condition. If not I know someone who is about to sell him 00' GSXR 600 for $3500. Be good to make as a track bike!!!

problem is you spend $3-3500 on a bike, then $1500-2000+ getting it trackready.......vs buying a used trackbike for $3000-3500

TAPE-$5 depending on your color lol
Safety Wire- $20 if you get a whole spoll
the time to take the fuses out, take off mirrors, and tape everything up- MAYBE an hour...

I know I know Ed you said a TRUE trackbike, however what if this kids want to take his bike out with his boys, oh wait he wouldnt be able to bc he listened to you and got a track ONLY bike. If he get a bike he could easily make it track READY and have the choice to do track days!!!
