Austin motoGP in April

Hi guys

I've never been to one before and now it's here in Austin. I have a bunch of friends there so it'd be a good time to visit them as well.

Can you guys recommend a ticket price range/seating section section that gives best "bang for the buck" to get. Thank you.

GA or turn 15 is very popular. So is turn 1. I would be wary of any vip packages or pit passes as lots of people were disappointed with access last year.

I'm doing GA this year. For the price, you can't beat it.

GA lets you walk to just about any corner of the track, minus the infield. I did corner work for Turn 7 last year and saw a lot of action. I think 12 crashes throughout the weekend. There were quite a few people posted on Turn 9 because you could see a lot of the race from the higher vantage point.

+1 for turn 15 thats where ill be, I did GA last year and it was cool but if you want a decent spot to watch you have to get there early and worry about some clown in a lawn chair with an umbrella sitting in front of you . You should also look at the manufacture seats , for $30 more you get a seat, parking and parade lap

I am planning to get turn 1 ticket for sat. That doesn't let me walk around other than staying at the designated space?

GA is the way to go.

Slap some seats down in front of the jumbotron right in the middle of the esses. Job done!

If you get seats, get the middle or top of the grandstand. If you're too low you won't see as much.

I went with turn 15 last year, and I'm doing the same this year. It is nearest to the good GA spots and the action is intense on the curves in front of the grandstand.
