Gas Jug leaking

I bought a fuel jun with the quick fill cap and it leaks around the spout and top of the fuel tank.

Has anyone else had the problem? What can I do to fix it?

Is the o-ring in there?
Is it pinched?

Filler tubes are pretty cheap. I got a nice auto close one for about $3

New ones should come with the o-rings if that is your issue.

I figured the sucker out.

The o ring was in good shape
The gas tank filler tube had a small plastic white insert. I removed the white piece of plastic and now the jug works like a top.
