Wheres the post comparing him to panhandlers exploiting their children?
That extra .8 gallons being a deciding factor every time on which station you go to?<blah blah blah>
come on, you have to give it a chance to build. you killed it before it could even start...

I don't see how they're the tax man... if the state is charging $1/ gal in taxes, it doesn't matter if they sell him 1 gallon for the price of 10, if they're showing 10 gal sold, the tax man gets taxes for 10 gal. They'd only be the tax man if they doubled the price "per gallon" and gave you 2 gallons for every 1 you paid for, thereby cutting reported sales (and thus taxes charged) in half.

Actually I could give a less. The only reason I brought any of up is because chis AKA chris 5.0 dollars brought my name into some random thread...so clearly I'm the one who has gotten into his head, since he can't seem to let go.

Incase you do not know...the owners have the computer inside to manipulate the price per gallon and the calibration of how much it dispenses.

I had a similar thing happen at a station...it is called price jumping. I selected my payment, lifted the pump handle into my tank (did not squeeze the handle to pump gas), selected 89 octane, pump pressurized up and I noticed the price jump on the screen to $0.05 (gallons were still at 0.00) before I dispensed any gasoline. I took a picture of this with my iphone and called the Ag Dept. The station was closed down within the week and pumps locked up. State of Texas DOES NOT f*CK around whn it comes to that...i can guarantee you. My grandfather worked for the Texas Ag dept for 45 years.

I just got gas at the gas station around the block from our house and I notice this. I went inside to complain with the clerk and all he said back was "someone else already complained" and I was like "really?" are you not gonna do anything? -nope, only the owner can... and that's was just after reading this here thread and showing to Myla right before living the house to get beer and gas for tomorrow.
This is ridicules...

By the way my car can pull up empty, pump a full tank, and the second that key is turned back on will read a full tank on the guage(not like my truck where the guage will slowly climb after putting gas as you drive). So let's do some math-15.7 gallon tank on my car At 3.49$ a gallon and I paid exactly 25$ so should get 7.1 something gallons.. That's less than half a tank not less than a quarter! So I go right back into the store and explain and am told "that's odd, those pumps were just serviced. They can't be off don't know what to tell you." I then tried to explain based on simple math I got screwed out of half my gas but apparently gas station attendants are not well trained for simple math lol.
Back to the story.. Today I return with a camera, gallon milk jug, and cooking measuring cup and get a much different reaction. My question to the owner today(yes the owner was there today lol)was why can I put almost 1.8 gallons in a 1 gallon milk jug and why was I told the pumps were just serviced when the sticker on the pump clearly said it's been almost a year? So after my little science project in the parking lot Im reporting them and spreading the word about TEXICO on ELDRIDGE & FALLBROOK and how pump # 4 (maybe others) rips you off.
I just by beer there. Getting ripped off I'm sure

Found one recently that had quite the opposite problem. 5 bucks of premium filled my bikes tank, from reserve. Needless to say I have a new favorite gas station. Lol.

If it were two out of three of those problems, I would have STFU and gotten the job done there. But it was all three problems combined. service, long wait, overpriced.

You twisted that around into me being too broke/stupid to afford 5 dollars.
