Losing power

2006 R1 with about 24k,I'm losing power in all gears. Bike feels like its not getting enough fuel. It started at 60 mph then at 30 mph. Barely made it home. I checked my air filter and it was not that dirty but cleaned it anyway since I had it out. Any suggestions would help.

Any FI/check engine lights on?
Does it have a miss? (As in is it running on all 4 cyls?)

Check the fuel filter or fuel screens if it has them. Check plugs/coil wires. If there is no FI lights or codes thrown, and it's NOT missing, then you probably have a fuel system issue. Clogged fuel screen in the fuel pump or something along those lines.. Normally you would then do a fuel pressure test at the fuel rail and see if its in spec, then move down the line from there.

Really need more info on the symptoms.

Also if you have a power commander or Bazzaz, disconnect them completely and then try it, start diagnosing from there.

Losing power? Be more descriptive. Is it feeling weaker or is the engine cutting in and out? A bog type power loss or like it not getting spark?
