freakin news needs to learn there . Pardon my french. I work at stubbs, one of the harley service riders, lost control of the busa in the parking lot. He did not know the power of the busa and got 2 throttle happy, and hit the woodin stage in the rear of the parking lot. He was looking into buying a busa, they had just got done washing it for us and was bring it back to our side. RIP CODY!!!!

My partner worked the accident on this one. Pretty much what the last couple of guys said. A tech had just done some work and was not used to the Haybusa and wrecked in the parking lot. Supposedly the bike was lauched a good ways but the tech died when he hit one the metal rails near the ramp. This was in the p-lot not on the streets.

NEWS is like the gossip in high school...
starts off with the truth and by the end of the day its come down to everything BUT the truth.
Thank you YZFracer212 for all the info. Must be hard to just have seen what happened and then to come on here and clear things up. Hang in there!!!!
Riders PLEASE be careful out there...

RIP Cody (another one down)

OK need to clear something else up, the person that died on the bike was not the tech that worked on it. The guy that wrecked it was one of the service writers for the harley side, so he was not at all use the busa power. He opened the busa up like he does the harleys only problem is the busa has power un like the harleys. Front end came up a little and he started getting squily and could not control it.

My condolences to you all at Stubbs, why would he be getting on it like that in a parking lot? Was this a customers bike?

well clearly, he was unaware of the power that a busa would posses. prolly didnt expect it to be much different from a similar motor sized harley.

Being an employee at Stubbs as well, this incident hasn't been well reported by any of the news agencies. It's not my place, but I'll just say RIP to the fallen rider, Cody.
