Did he actually steal the bike? Article doesn't say. Just said riding a stolen bike. Don't want to jump to any conclusions... but innocent until proven guilty and all that funky jazz. Maybe friend of his stole the bike and let Julio joy ride on it? I don't know, just thinking of possible scenarios.

I live near reliant stadium and there were bikes hauling buttcheeks ALL night. Literally from midnight till about 4am they were just blazing down the freeway.

Wonder if he was among them?

Either way, this situation is an all around loss. The owner cant recover his bike. Loss of life and folks are probably traumatized. Not every day you run over a human being.

Character-wise: hes actually laid back, speaks with respect, genuine, n extremely kind. I met him n teased about his hair, his ear piercing, his marijuana belt buckle n his tats but as I spoke to him, I realized how sweet n laid back he was.

He loooooved working on bikes n had a few. One was an ugly bobber (his words, not mine). He had all kinds biker friends..cruisers, sport bikes, bobber guys...
He sucked terribly in connect 4. I beat him over 5x back to back and he had help from 2 more guys vs little old me.
He worked a legit job for a huge transit company, up at work by 7a, pays taxes, into cars.

As for the stolen part...he has pics of it everywhere so if it was stolen...he didnt hide it. Dunno about that.

I thought at first it was another Julio, but now from the picture posted I see it was this guy.

I don't know about the stolen bike, the guys would always come around and seemed like he was well off.

He would even customize his helmets, one of them was like the other guy's that had the predator look.

Sad news, poor decicions, horrible consequences.

May he rest in peace.

Sad situation...

Nothing good happens on the those WED nights.

I consider myself lucky to have walked away from that without any tragedy...
