ANOTHER motorcyclist DEAD today

Just got a report of a guy on a bike hauling ........into the back of an 18 wheeler.

:BangHead:

edit: heres the story.

http://abclocal.go.com/ktrk/story?se...fic&id=5246328

Motorcyclist dies after slamming into 18-wheeler

Police say three men on motorcycles were weaving in and out of traffic at a high rate of speed. One of them ran into the back of an 18-wheeler near 43rd.Street. The motorcyclist was pulled under and dragged by the semi for about 100 yards. He was killed.

A second motorcyclist also crashed, but suffered only minor injuries. The freeway was completely shut down for more than two hours as a result.

Another one bites the dust.

You know how we are....We think about it and slow down/chill for a few days maybe a week, then get right back out there and speed and do stupid sh*t again. Myself included:BangHead: :BangHead:

And I've been moving so thats kept me from riding this week.

I'm gonna take a wild guess here and say...you've never been down before have you? (I don't mean a little tumble or drop the bike, I mean eat , oh that hurt I can't move yet, oh wait I just woke up in the hospital and I'm here for a week kind of wreck)

Just curious, when are people gonna wake up and realize we can ride without having to haul at 100+ everywhere we go??

I see people all the time at stop lights and when it turns green, they act like they are running the 1/4 mile. I just dont get it. Its almost like they think just because they are on a bike that they need to ride it as fast as it will go everywhere they go and thats just plain stupid!

I like to ride my bike aggressive sometimes but i keep it on backroads or when the traffic is dead and only in short spurts. I dont get over my head like some of these other riders do that must be thinking that they are invincible.
