Another lost rider...

Apparently a guy named Bryan on an R6 was heading to PP1 from the northside at a high rate of speed, spliting through traffic was killed tonight. The accident happened at 290 and Antoine. He died at the scene.

Slow down everyone. Please.

a state trooper stopped by pp1 tonight and confirmed the reports we were hearing from a few other riders. he told everyone not to be stupid tonight, they didn't need someone else killed. i really appreciate he said that warning to everyone, even if it slowed down just one person tonight it was worth it. too bad a few others in the parking lot thought he was being an by doing so. man, i fkn hate pp1.

Yeah so right after the state trooper says this, I head out to the next group ride. Grant it we weren't going as fast as the first ride I went out on, but not a person slowed down.... :BangHead:

that's a shame. it's only a matter of time before it happens again, and it could be any one of us here.

DAMMIT! I think its time to set back and reflect on things abit. I really feel lucky now. I could've been one of these guys this weekend. I really hate to see this , I love riding and I only ride on the streets cause track days are too outta reach for me. If this keeps up there'll be alot of backlash. And we are gonna be the ones to pay.:BangHead: I like to go fast just as much as the next guy(or gal):confused2 but that does'nt mean everytime to take off that you have to prove to the world that you can do triple digits everywhere. We all need to check ourselves , everytime we ride.

Bryan was going 160+ on 290 switching lanes. I dont know why he was downed but i heard his helmet shattered on impact....i dont think he had it strapped...even at tripple digits...i guess that even wont save you O_O

there's an old sayin about crashing at high speeds with a helmet on...you'll either be a vegetable, or your family will get to have an open casket funeral.

gear doesn't make you invincible people!
