! My rear tire has about 300 miles left on it. That didn't last too long. Did 4 weekend rides approx 200 miles each ~ 800miles, a track day and this 700 mile ride... So got about 1700 miles on it. Pilot Power 3 was a good try out.. Tire profile is super steep on the shoulders... I think I am going to stick with the Pilot Road series.. Always got the grip I needed for street and the tire stayed rounded to the end..

Some of the roads were a lot of fun.. Big super fast sweepers with smooth pavement... A couple of roads had some elevation changes and a few tight turns too. We soon discovered that the roads were in better shape on the Texas side of the lake compared to LA.. The google map pictures didn't show the rumbling bumps on LA 120.. LA 177 is what I really wanted to get to, but we were running out of daylight and I thought it was best to get to the cabins.

The cabins are an SDRC secret... You must do your own research.

! Super facepalm .. What secrete. Lol. You go to google maps and type cabins.. Boom. There are a bunch to choose from. Choose the one that suits your style best.. 87 and LA 191 are badass roads.
