Just for a reference ,
my buddy Silverbullet on here , will knock 600-700 mile days 2 ,3 , 4 days in a row and beg for more .

That fool went to Minnesota and bought a Husky dirtbike and I think he was back in Houston in less than 20 hrs if I rememnber right

If you like long mile days , PM him , He'll give em to ya , but you gonna hae to up your game a little bit and maybe get them days up to 500 or so a day .

And this is no bullhit , He'll prolly chime in when he see's this thread .

I told him I cant do 500 miles in a Cadilac in 1 day much less a motorcycle ,

and to top it off ,

He does them on a Dualsport

Yes , the return trip from a fly and ride , I'm not exactly sure of the time , I'm sure he will say .

Were not talking a big cruiser or bagger , this was on a 600cc dualsport bike with a 2x4 for a seat , te610 I believe .

I believe my total time from Minneapolis was around 23 hrs as I had to stop in Missouri for some hours when it got too cold at night for my gear. This wasn't really that enjoyable of a ride as I superslabbed it the whole way. It was more enjoyable than driving a car and trailer round trip though.

400 miles is a good days ride for me when mixing pavement and dirt. The longer in the dirt the lower the miles typically as much slower speeds off pavement. Next to the fly and ride my longest day was about 630 miles. Jumped on the bike one morning and rode straight to Big Bend with only gas stops. Probably longer miles when I drove home 4 days later as I took the northern route. The 2x4 seat only hurts when you sit on it as I spend much time standing on the pegs, even at 75-85mph freeway speeds. So in some ways a sports bike or cruiser where this is not possible would be tougher for me.
