Make sure it stays in 2nd gear at wot.
Make sure it doesn't run hot and that the fan works.

The rear rotary dampener (rear shock) is a POS on them.
Check the electrical system operation on everything and check the voltage at the battery while it's running and make sure the thing is charging, they often had wiring and regulator/rectifier issues.
They are heavy, they are slow.. Any new-ish 600 will spank one..

All that being said, I love them. Give me a yellow 98' TLR. One of the best looking, best sounding bikes ever. Engines are pretty reliable on them, the trannies are typical late 90s zuke junk. They are a little tank slap happy as well, but not as bad as the TLS was.

I didn't watch the vid but if its clean, all is working well and its cheap, I'd say jump on it.

What Alan said, plus:
Clutch slave cylinders will leak over time.
The aforementioned electrical, make sure the charging system is functioning properly.
The fuel tanks sometimes would develop splits in the rear seams, make sure there's mo indications of leakage.
The rear shocks weren't the best. Make sure the bike has some rebound damping control in the rear.

And DON'T start it!
If you do you will fall in love and buy it even if it has every one of the above mentioned problems. They sound great and I knew someday I would have a sporty V twin bike.
Now I do. Talk about issues, these Eyetalian bikes a persnickity... but worth it, lol

They do sound good...

Stock.. heavy pigs with 120 hp, with a crappy rear suspension and electrical system.. luckily those can both be fixed
Spend $$$ and time, and you can get it down to about the same weight as a 600, and still have only 120 hp..

Fun, different, definately a "niche" bike.

V-twin powerband is totally different than an inline four.. takes some getting used to.

Ask the seller how he got that camera to float behind the bike. Curious how he mounted that camera.

Did he turn it into a street fighter? Does he have the parts to return it back to stock?

It looks like there is an arm mounted to the left side of the subframe, you can just barely see it at the bottom of the pic.
It's just off the corner of the license plate, next to the gold cartridge on the rear shock.

Honestly, I would not buy for $2500...

You can find a decent stock one for $3500, sometimes less...

That one looks ratted out.

Spare motor "that might be bad"...sounds to me like he replaced the old blown motor and is now throwing it in as "extra"

for 1900 it doesn't seem bad. It does look pretty hacked up, but it's not like you're paying top dollar for it

You'd be doing him a favor buying it at $1100-1200, much less 2 grand.

Subframe has been hacked up.
Mismatched wheels indicating a hard crash. Hard to tell from the distorted pic but the front wheels sits awfully close to the engine, somethings bent in the front end.
I'd pass.
