Had a blast at Ultimate, first time i've gone. Track is very forgiving and safe to ride for the less serious riders out there. The dirt is like sand mix, I loved it. I don't care for slippery hard packed tracks, usually there are not ruts and it's slippery. This is not the case here!
It's perfect for the guys that want to go out there are absolutely rail on the berms and ruts, and still want to show up to work the next day uninjured.
From my understanding, the track is prepped on tuesdays and thursdays in the afternoon. Night riding on tuesdays and thursdays I believe (yes they have lights).
They also have a shop in the front where you sign in, I'm not sure what service they provide besides tires/flats. I saw some gloves for sale at the front. I'm sure it's still a work in progress, it is looking great out there so far.
I definitely recommend giving this track a go. The only thing I would recommend to the owner would be to incorporate some elevation change or maybe a few tables on the two or three straight aways. It seems that he is doing work to the track to further progress it. I havent been out to Rio bravo, 3 palms, or badlands (haven't been in the area very long), but I know I will be back to ultimate for sure!
