originally I wanted 12-13 but then I realized that's also COTA so, that may not be a good idea. The next weekend I can probably do as well.

Also, if we DID do the 12-13, I can probably make it a 3 days ride and start out on the 11th. Maybe we can all go to COTA? Maybe not. Its still kinda early.

I'm also trying to plan with my friends who have kids on certain weekends. We'd love to have you! Although, I feel this isn't up to your "speed"

I'm slow now, I'd just cruise. 12-13 of which month? I suspect you mean April.

Chris, you ride out and back, correct? I think I'm good for either of those weekends...but I prefer to trailer out and hook up further west. Mind posting link to last years route?

BASED on the route you sent me....I'm thinking trailer west towards LaGrange/Giddings, hook up, ride, eat, ride, eat, drink, sleep, eat, ride, eat, ride....fall off the path somewhere near that same hook up spot and trailer back home....that's 3 hours of riding that I can cut short and still have a great ride. And I don't mind leaving either of my hoopties and my open trailer somewhere near there overnight.

Curt, can we tolerate each other for a ride out? As long as we don't discuss trackdays we'll be alright. I kid, I kid. Will be nice to catch up with a good group.

This won't be a noob ride, correct?

Moderate pace... fast enough to get an expensive ticket but not so fast that one would get arrested?

no worries, I'm hoping to convince another buddy to join up as well. Chris, you looking to limit the number of riders? We did a group of 16 a few years back with Mad Max and several from here. Many thought our weekend would be pitiful, but we logged 500ish trouble/incident free miles that weekend. I don't particularly care for a group much larger than that....your ride, but I'd like to know what to expect.

Strong Mebbe too.....

a year has flown by....me and Gary were at the 3 Sisters....saw the wreck post at OST Breakfast.

And the following weekend is when BEVO decided to try his hand asphalt skating and fence re-alignment at 100mph.
