you flipped your 01 zrx1200 in 1st gear doing 111mph...you should probably submit that to ripleys believe it or not.

right before you stacked your trash you must of looked down at the speedo and saw that 111mph and went over backwards because you couldn't believe what you were seeing.

Love those bikes.

Will it really do 111 in 1st gear? Seems really high.

I'm sure we could do the math and difinitively prove it impossible with the redline and gear ratios, but ain't nobody got time fo that.

On my stock geared 02 ZRX I hit roughly 75ish at redline in first, must be geared differently

Maybe he started in second?
Should have enough torque to get there and probably tops around 110 or so.

Geared 18/39 with a 11,500 limiter over stock 17/42 gearing with 10,500 limiter
Double valve springs , Cams , High compression , and was 430 pounds in street trim . I knew 111 mph since it was bouncing of the limiter in 1st gear while draging the rack . I could go through the 1/4 mile in 3 gears with a 148 mph trap speed @ 10.10 with a shity 1.8 second sixty foot .

I let go when the bike would not shift to second , and the throttle would not close due to a wedged cable in the throttle tube housing @ 12 oclock slid on my back in my leathers till came to a stop . got up and walked off the road .
I have no reason to lie or bull any of you . Take it or leave it as it matters none to myself .

Because I went to snick it into second and it didnt go due to a loaded transmission , next its almost draging the rack all in milliseconds that bike was a awful handful being so light , and high tq . over gearing to try and keep it tame
like a turbo bike helped but also put to much speed when it did wheelie .
I felt it was better to bail while bailing was still safer than trying anymore to save it .
