Do it before you put that swingarm on

I've been there a dozen times and I prefer to trailer there.

trailer...Way too long of a ride on a sportbike,(for me anyways)..I-10's boring and on top of that, it takes about 4-5 hours to get there. You have plenty of seat time once you are there. Also, incase something happens, you have your vehicle.

When we go, we head to Austin first for a night, then more back roads all the way out to Koyote Ranch. It breaks up the long ride and you can hit up some good roads between Austin and Medina.

The ride home does suck, though.... especially at 105* with a non-perf leather jacket. I think we might hit Austin up on the way home this time. (We have a place to stay there, so it doesn't cost anything but time.)

I totaled 1208 miles the last long weekend we rode out there.

WOW...I would be in traction/physical therapy if I rode that many miles on the BMW in one weekend... Yall are hard core..

I'd definitely have to trailer it atleast to Austin, then ride out from there.

Viffer and I were the only ones that rode out there and back the entire way. The rest of the *cough* Jimrad *cough* DannyBoy *cough* and Bsquared *cough* all trailered at least one way.

And those are some nice pics. I've never stopped anywhere to take any panos, but they turn out nice. The only time we stop is if the road is completely flooded:

When you're out there, you don't notice the miles. It is too much fun.

There is a reason I moved to Boerne from San Antonio, and it wasn't for the school districts

biiiiitch just for me to come meet you fools and do a forest run is 250+ miles.

I've been all over GA (Blood Mtn), NC (Dragon) and TN all in one day too. Plus Blue Ridge Parkway and Cherohala Skyway.

Did you forget about Arkansas, too?

How else would my bike have 30k on it?
