Question Does anyone want to ride with me?

Hello MH,

I'm a brand new rider (bought my 1st bike 1/31) and I'm loving it. As of this post, I have 5 days of riding experience on street and a day of trail riding on a mini bike. Would anyone care to ride with me once the weather improves a bit? I don't ride very fast (65 mph tops) on my little 250cc; but any pointers or advice from a seasoned, sensible rider would be appreciated.

I took the BRC in July '13, and wear full gear all the time. I have my motorcycle endorsement and my bike is fully insured. If anyone doesn't mind riding with me for even 30 min, I'd greatly appreciate it.

This. You'll get accustomed soon enough.

Or at least let the leader of a noob ride know that he is REALLY noob, prefereably before even showing up. They will welcome it, but may make sure that someone watches you, and gives you plenty of space.
Some people define noob as "only 10mph over speed limit".

I'm down to ride around with you if your looking to do some short cruises during the week, I'm even in the same area of town.

I'm not an experienced street rider though so I can't give you much in the way of pointers other than stay safe and be easy with that right wrist.

I went on a noob ride with less than ten days of riding experience on the street. Just take it real easy and stay toward the back. focus on your own speed when going into a turn, not what the guy in front of you is doing.

^definitely...and remember if you feel like you entered a turn at too high of a speed; look through the turn, press and roll. Do not panic and look at the yellow line or side of the road.

The bike is capable of a lot more than you think

Ill cruise with ya.
I will say this as my .02 cents on the group rides though. I would stay away from "real" group rides for at least of month until you get more comfortable.Like chevy said some "noob" rides are cornering at posted and then some are still pretty fast. Also if you went on a group ride you would have to pay more attention to those around you, and some rules group rides have. Once you have about a good month or two I think you could go on a group ride then.
