Tire shop near I-10/BW8 (memorial)

Looking for a shop that can mount a tubed tire on an old bike without breaking the bank. I read not so good things about the shop at I-10 and HW6.

Thanks.

I googled the shop and there were some posts on this forum which is how I came across MotoH. There were also a few reviews on the net (not here)...good and not so good.

There is a shop on Beltway 8 between Tanner and Clay. Precision Cycles. I do not know anything about them. I just work across the beltway from them. That being said Motorcycles Unlimited has always done a great job on anything I have taken to them.

Thanks, Warren. Looks like they're closed. Shame...right down the road from me.

Gotcha. Based on what I read here, I've no plans to pay them a visit.

Good because they were about to let me leave last time with no pressure in the rear brake when i was leaving. I even pumped it a few times and nothing.

Just wanted to send a shout out to Gear Head Motorcycles and Scooters off Westheimer just before HW6. Sergio there changed out a front tire, tube and strap on my old gal...1972 Honda CB500 Four. I liked what I saw from him so as I restored my gal and got to the point that the carbs needed some love, I turned to Gear Head and Sergio did a great job. Engine purrs and he did a few extras without charge. Really pleased...honest man and fair rates.

Thanks to TMAX for the referral.
