Fort Bend County people

Would any of you happen to know the speed the speed limit on 521 from McHard Rd down to 1462? Planning a ride on my little 50cc mopeds and don't want to plan a route on a 55mph or faster back road.

Of course I know that many folks do not do the posted limited, I just prefer to ensure that we're not going too slow!

Use Google street view?

Just a thought.

EDIT: I got bored.
55mph just south of hwy6, then up to 60 a little further down.

So probably 60 the whole open stretch. but yeah, expect 60mph dump truck and 80mph cars.

60 most of the way. Last time I was on that stretch, I was lucky to hit 40 because of slow drivers.

if i'm not mistake, it's 50MPH. its also a 2 lane rd. on that stretch and there are lots of industrial type businesses there with 18-wheelers all over. so be careful on a small bike.

I live there. 60 then 45 after 6 then 55 at r.r tracks. Then 60 at Siena entrance. To rosharon it drops again.

Yeah it varies a bit. I live and drive it daily. Sometimes you get people doing 45 in a 60. They have a speed trap right around hwy 6 so be careful that cop only patrols that stretch in Fresno.
