im in teh EXACT same boat as you bro. i loved the EV1 webspace. FTP was so easy to use and i could post the links from teh top of my head, instead of going to a site and haveing to copy and paste.

Been with them for a couple of years now problem free. Steer clear of Host Gator, I am about to fire those fudgers..

I am 99.99999% sure Godaddy offers FTP on all of it's web hosting packages.


I use Filezilla when I need to drop files to the host instead of using the host FTP client/manager.


It's free and simple to use.

I have the econo plan and another one step above. I POP everything into Outlook and don't rely on webmail. The account above the econo plan lets you upgrade your e-mail accounts to 25MB. I also think you can call them and get whet ever size box you want. All it takes is money.
