Talking s1000RR owners step inside

So i just dropped the bike off at the dealership for its 600 mile service. My question for you guys is... what was your first impression on the bike after they took the limiter off? I'm excited to get her back and wanted to hear your first impressions the first time you let her rip!

In my opinion, it's not a night a day difference from other 1000cc sportbikes. Don't get me wrong, it's definitely a fast bike, just all the power in concentrated in a narrow window from say 11,000rpm to redline. On any current superbike, in that rpm range you're going to be moving, which makes it hard to really tell the hp advantage that the bike does have.

Over 10,000 rpm you better be holding on tight, love the grin factor that it turns on also.

you will literally your pants and start laughing uncontrollably the first time you twist it past 10k rpms. The front end gets super light and your arms feel like they are being pulled into the future

I'd be interested to know your impressions once you get a chance to open the bike up.

''The brakes were unreal and the engine was insanely powerful..." Sam Fleming describing on next moths issue of Roadracing World Feb '14. the S1000RR they prepare for endurance racing.

I also have mine (like the one described by Sam) with the self-mapping system built into the Bazzaz system. On slick mode on the track it power wheelies on 5th gear. It's a beast.
