They do offer a "dual compound" trackday tire, just haven't had a lot of feedback on it though yet.
I tried the new dual compound bridgestones BT-002 streets (from kawijm) on the RC at the last longhorn day and was very pleased with them. The rear had alot more bite than the pilot race I used before. It only stepped out on me once and that was only because I hamfisted it to see how much it could handle. Not sure how much street mileage you could expect from these though. I was also very pleased with the 2CT's though and theres some fast guys running them on track.

Bridgestones top five huh? try top 6. Hopper got past Hayden in the last turn
I have sold quite a few of the new BT002 racing/street and all of the feedback has been positive. The tire was designed to compete directly with the PP and I think it offers everything the PP does. Your choice (as with all things) but I don't think your giving something up by running the Bridgestones.

I really liked the BT-014's. I ran the older M1's on my RC51 and they worked fair, but wore quick. The BT014's stuck great and wore really well. I did some limited track riding on them. Mostly "spirited" street riding:icon_bigg

Well my last two track days have been on the tires that came with both the gixxer and RR! Those are the Dunlop 208's! We had Qualifier's on the ZX7R and really liked them so we just got a set for the RR! I wanted to try out something different so that I why I was thinking about the PP or the BT002's

Ive use pereilli diablos and pilot powers. Pilot powers hands down, I also just ordered some Pilot Power 2CT's and they're supposed to be great. I cant imagine a street tire handling better than a pilot, but we shall see!
