So its not some heavy v-twin torque monster. I dont have exp with Perrelli but the Michelin PR2 should last u say 8k front and 5k rear at least....If ur putting that many miles on the bike u really have no choice to change em ever other month or so....u gotta pay to play

Well, i cant say then. Ive never ridden on the Pilot Road 2's. I have the Pilot Power 2ct's (and i like em) but they will wear out quick with your milage.

Call either House of paint and talk to tony 281-651-1961 or call South central Race center and ask for John 281-255-6004 . Just let them know what type of riding you mentioned in your OP, they know their stuff real well

Between the two, PR2 is the better tire. Pirelli updated the Angel ST with the GT last year. I have the GT on my S3R and like it a lot.

Pilot ROAD series are what you need.. NOT pilot POWER (softer tire)

These are some tires to choose from if you commute highway mostly..

BT023
Pilot ROAD 2 or 3 or even 4
Pirellie Angle st or gt

You want to search in the sport TOURING category .

I have a pair of pilot road 3s that I used at a L1 track day and a few hundred miles of street riding before making it a track only bike

$190 for the set

last set I had on my 750 got 6k hard miles out of them and got 10K commuting miles out of the set before on my 600

BINGO!

I use Pilot road 2 for my rear, and Pilot power 3 (or w/e) for the front on all of my bikes. It's awesome. Great performing tire and they last about the same 7-8k each, unless you're really ripping it

Mileage comparisons seem somewhat useless when comparing different bikes and tire sizes. Could you list what tires you have used up on your ZX6R? Were they all softer tires?
