MH, I hope this is ok as a first post. I used to be a rider as well, and that's how I know about this forum.

I knew Roger for many years. I have many many memories of him from back in the day. talker, yes! But that was Roger, always having something smart to say, always making us laugh! (at someone, or at ourselves)

I remember he was one of the first ones to have his own place, I remember hanging out there many many times. Crashing there after going out late into the night. Meeting up there just to do what we do, nothing.

Over the years, I started to loose touch with Roger, I didn't see him around as much. I heard he had a new girl friend who was in school and she motivated him to do something more with his life. I heard he was back in school making something of himself. I just saw him not too long ago at a friends birthday get together. He introduced me to his girl. He seemed happy. We caught up a bit and I remember thinking how good it was to talk to him, to catch up.

I know he loved riding. And he died doing something he loved.

Roger, I miss you already bro. I know we drifted apart a bit over the years. I'm sorry, I don't know why that happened. I wish we kept in touch more. I wish I was a better friend. Everytime I'm on Westpark Toll, I look over towards your place as I pass by. So many good memories. I swear, I think about you often, I just didn't show it. I went yesterday, I went to see you. I know, I was too late. But I wanted to be there for you. I showed up as they were taking you away. I want to talk to you, just to chill again, talk mess, talk cars, talk bikes, whatever. I'm sorry bro, I'm sorry we didn't hangout more. I'm sorry it's too late. I'll pray for your family, for your mom. I know it will be hard on them, it's never easy. I can't believe your gone.

May Allah watch over you, watch over your family, and bring peace into all the hearts that you touched. Rest in peace my friend.

I was right behind him when it happened. It was unreal. Sorry to have lost such a great guy, I just met him yesterday, Roger was as cool as the other side of the pillow. I mean, it is crazy to be sitting down eating shooting the shyt with a guy only to see him taken away only a few minutes later- and right before your eyes at that. Los, you can't take that on your shoulders, we were all riding and riding hard, we knew the risks involved and as someone said before, it was an accident, nothing you or I or anyone else can do to change it. My prayers and greatest sympathies go out to all families involved, may all affected receive 's best attentions at this time. bless Koskesh and the other two riders, may they rest in peace...

and I too will be taking the day off work for the memorial ride, if it is a daytime ride.

Wow, speechless. What a sad story.

RIP to all three riders.

Los, everyone has to know to ride their own ride, it is not your fault. My thoughts are with you as well, and with the others having witnessed this.
