Hey chris give me a call and I will meet you up for the shirt. Also I have opened the paypal account for her for anyone who wants to donate money

please paypal the funds to hagen.lydia@gmail.com

I have left it unverified and will be handing the accounts over to her family to add a bank account so they can automatically transfer it how they please.

If a mod can post this in the first thread it would be appreciated. If you can also post my first post in that thread so everyone can know all info when they look in here that would be great.

who's to say she wants a shirt?

maybe the thought that somebody from "this" board killed her B/F? might upset her. not everybody feels like you guy's do.

Stuffed animal might be a good idea.
She seemed like she likes cutesy stuff and might need something to hold on to.
Something soft and fits in an arm would be nice.

It was not her boyfriend who passed away. It was her friend. Regardless of that person being a member we are here to give her support. Not just from the individuals, but as a whole. Meaning the whole Motohouston society. A shirt would be a nice gesture along with the flowers and donation.

If you want to think of it like that...whos to say she wants flowers from the people who were friend with the person who killed her friends. We would just be better off not doing anything in your words then.

Regardless of the fact that it was a member of OUR community we are all here for her. We don't know if she will appreciate it or hate us for it, but we are doing it out of the love from our hearts. I want MOTOHOUSTON to be recognized for all that each individual who has stepped forwared to help in anyway possible. So i don't know what would be wrong with that.

Please don't make useless comments about this we are trying to come together as a whole

nothing useless about that comment. I'm saying to you that i wouldn't want the shirt if i were in her shoes. And I'm a member of this board and have been since the start of it. Im saying it seems like a bad idea to get a shirt knowing the circumstances of the connection between this board and why she's in ICU.

..perhaps something stuffed, decent size that a childs shirt might fit with the site logo on it? Though I understand/see Paniro's point quite well in regards to this (in regards to the MH 'link' to the accident).

I wouldn't do a shirt at this time! It is nice to show support, but she will have a lot of issues to deal with! Maybe as time goes by and a relationship is formed, it could be a nice little gift!

Flowers will be the best bet!

Every printout and every donation is linked to motohouston. Every payment receive via paypal has best wishes and saying their name and motohouston right under it.

This situation is what it is, and because it happens doesn't make us bad people. It was a accident period. Meaning a mistake, her survival is a fufillment in my heart and everyone elses who was there. Its also a relief for alot of members on the board who know about this.

Her experience on that bike was not a good one, but maybe her seeing that this community of strangers wishing her the best will brighten her face and she can veiw it in another light. A little more positive. Or maybe this will all backfire in our face, but just leave it as a postive thing and we will have nothing to worry about from there on out.

well.........there's a thought. enough damage has been to done to her and the other riders family.

as 2nded by another "clear thinker" (RRCHIC) flowers and $ are a better bet.

she's gonna need $ more then anything else.

so who's gonna pony up?
