+1...Please do. I feel so terrible for her family. The woman who acted as her host family collapsed at the scene when she found out what happened. Just terrible..

It is possible that the reporter didn't get the part where she died on route, depending on what the sheriff deputies told officially; but let's hope that she did make it and can recover. At least one happy ending in all of this would be nice. Here is to hoping...

First, I'm sorry to hear about the deaths of two fellow motorcyclists.

Second - someone said "Their is nothing you could have done to prevent this from happening."

Absolute and total BULLSHIT!!! This was not an accident - a bunch of people went out and rode irresponsibly and too fast for conditions - pure and simple. They rode fast on purpose so it was no "accident".

Why???!! Because they thought they were a bunch of boy-racers and could ride however they wanted on public roads and the consequences if something went wrong.

And because it was a right-hand corner that was cooked - someone else died and a third person was horribly hurt.

Does the thought of looking at or thinking of those dead and mangled bodies bother you enough to ride like you want to live another day, cause it should?

This didn't have to happen for any reason - I rode that very same stretch Sunday afternoon early and lived to tell about it.

Jeezus people - wake up, grow up, ride responsibly and live to ride another day!!

Reading posts about this kind of situation makes me sick.

wrong - the time and place is NOW... Three people died because of foolish and irresponsible riding.. When would you like to discuss it?

And you know what? If not for me being on that same road at a slightly different time that day it could have been me taken out - and that me off and it should you too.

This did not have to happen - all on that ride, especially the lead rider who was setting the pace, are responsible and accountable.

and for the record - I am not "great" - I'm only a responsible rider who doesn't want to see ANYONE get hurt while riding a motorcycle.

This thread should be a topic of discussion before every group ride you are on for some period of time.

Why should he go bye? He is not smack talking. Maybe could be better timing but the fact of the matter is the truth may be hard to look at at times like this. keep that in mind.

HONESTLY DUDE, Ur right it could have happened to any1 of us, but saw fit for me not to get out and ride that day, and the FACT OF THE MATTER IS if HE wanted these 3 to see ANOTHER DAY, HE WOULD HAVE SEEN TO IT THAT THEY WERE SOMEWHERE ELSE AS WELL!!!!

UR LIFE AND ALL OUR LIVES ARE IN HIS HANDS, LUCK AND RESPONSIBILITY HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH IT.
