Just got hit...

I was on my bike following my roommate who was driving his car and at a stop light. I was just sittin there mindin my own f'n business and WHAMMO! Some silly b*itch runs me down from behind. I was tangled up in the bike which was all rapped up in her car and fell to the street.. I looked up and my left leg was pretzled up underneath the bike. Needless to say the ambulance came and took me to the hospital where the xrays showed nothin broken..(thank ) but said there may be torn ligaments, so MRI to follow. I'm at home, relaxin but about my BRAND NEW, two week old '07 GSXR 600 that is pretty beat up. The rear sub frame is completely broken and many other scratches and things over the rear portion of the bike I was in full gear, helmet, jacket, gloves, pants, etc. so no road rash and other than my knee being jacked and a lot of pain, I'm ok. She had insurance and admitted fault at the scene to the officers so my question is where do I take my bike for repair/estimates?? Is Motorcycles Unlimited insurance approved, I know they do good work.? Any good lawyers to help me recover medical bills/copays? Thanks for all your help and I hope to be back out there ridin' soon.

glad you came out fairly well considering what happened. The bike might come out totalled. Dealerships will account for everything that has a scratch on it. Total that out and get a 1000 lol... jk

sorry to hear about your bike, glad you are ok though.

If they don't total it, take it to Patrick and let him make it new again. If they do total it, buy it back and make a track bike and get another one for the street

Sorry to hear your mishaps. This is why lane splitting to the front is always a good idea but cagers thinks they own the fooking road.
