Track question

I was wondering if any body has been to the drag strip off the beltway 8 and lockwood called Houston motorsports park. It is a 1/8 mile track. I was wanting to know if you have to have the same gear as baytown does. I tried calling but no answer. Thanks

ihra is alot easier on rules than nhra, last time I was there, it was jacket high top shoes and gloves. You might double check before you make the trip. hmp is ihra, hrp is nhra

from what i hear.. that is the most lenient place in the world.

HRP - No Wheelies on bikes...

HMP - Wheelie you *****!!!!

HMP was also home to a nice stunt show a few years ago.. can see some pics on the Delinquents Myspace page and also in Patrick Stephens Freestyle 2.

from ihra web site:

Motorcycle racers must have a full face helmet SNELL 90 or better (IHRA Rulebook). The minimum for protective clothing includes a leather jacket, leather boots/shoes above the ankle, and leather gloves. For motorcycles running 9.99 seconds or quicker, or 120 MPH or faster, refer to the 2006 IHRA Rulebook for protective clothing requirements.

if your running faster than 120 in the 1/8, then your the man.
the 9.99 et is for 1/4 mile
