Question from a newbie !

I recently just bought a bike, ninja 250, and I want to do some maintainence on it, I also want to clean the carbs and etc. The question I have is Should I bring it to a shop or do it myself? I just dont feel comfortable doing it myself since I never works on a bike before. What should I do ?!?!

Btw, what kind of maintainence do people do by themselves and what kind of maintainence do people bring it to a shop and get it done?

Good choice on the 250. Which year/color did you get?

PM "Patrick" about his monthly "maintainence crash course". he may be able to answer a lot of questions if you attend his quick course.
