The first time I was in houston I attempted to do the exact same thing...Get on a closed HOV lane....It's not marked till you've already ran into it, luckily I didn't run over any bikes but this is awful.

I blame poor city planers.

Another time to point out that drivers/riders worst enemy is other drivers/riders, whether cage or MC. Hope the other brother turns out ok

If I remember right, that particular HOV entrance looks like an ordinary entrance ramp onto 45S, to someone that is unfamiliar with that area
