Smile ladies!

Come on ya'll it was not that bad! And I don't see why we couldn't do this again! We just had a few minor complications! For one, way more girls showed up than were anticipated! Which was great, but it made things a little more stressful! Two, there were SO many different riding levels and styles mixed in! (As a whole most people ride with folks that share their riding styles). Three, not many have ever ridden in such a large group through all that traffic!

I admit things didn't not go as planned, but it was a chance for all of us to meet one another, and that we did without any drama! The drama all started after we tried to keep 20 bikes together on 610 and 10! And believe me we had quite an audience! I was riding sweeper so I saw it all! We had some cars be jerks and cut in the middle of us and we had some that hung back to help keep the traffic off us! Main thing is that no one was hurt ( other than Xanthea's poor piggies), and we all made it home safe!

As far the those of us that left the group! I apologize! It was not intentional and maybe not the right thing to have done, but hindsight is 20/20 next time we will be more considerate!

I don't see why the all girl track day couldn’t go off without a hitch! There were really no major attitudes yesterday, it was just a lot of confusion and uneasy feeling about be in such a large group! Knowing what we know now, we should have broken the group up and made our way to a rendezvous point!

I am not upset with anyone and I hope that no one is upset with me! I really enjoyed meeting ALL of you, you all were very cool ladies! And I am so looking forward to see you all on the track! I am really looking forward to seeing Candy (1fast GSXR) on the track! She was a small girl throwing around a gixxer k like it was nobodies business! It was AWESOME!!!:notworthy :notworthy

Next time we should print maps and put them visible in tank bags with alternate routes on them for a back up plan! I am directionally challenged. When we got split I personally had been up 32 hours....next time I promise I won't go after work.

I learned a few things yesterday.........
when breaking hard my front brakes are a bit soft
that my hubby deserves kuddos for being such a great teacher!
and that I should put on sunblock even though I am wearing jacket and helmet.

I hurt today :laughing6

Yall may want to meet further out west or near a spot that doesn't entail having a large group on the freeways next time. PP1 isn't the best place to start a group ride out the the country. It may not be fair to some people who have to ride a lil farther but it makes for a better ride when you don't have to deal with traffic.

I agree! This was a learning experience! Next time we will have more information to go on and hopefully it will run a little smoother! The only thing that sucks is that I have still never gotten to ride to Fayettteville :BangHead:

But my ride through the Forrest was outstanding!!

+ 1. Wait, I already said that earlier. he he. Actually I'll ride on I-10 and 610 but I've never done it in a group and wouldn't like to. Kudos to the girls for doing that. But I say get out of the traffic and have fun. Stop lights and cagers suck.
