NASA Rider Down

The hostage that was shot at Johnson Space Center yesterday was a fellow biker named David Beverly. He organized many rides for the JSC workers. Please keep his wife in your prayers.

I was totally thinking about you guys and your gal that morning (didn't she work for the security dept. there?). Sorry to hear about your friend and fellow coworker.

Yeah she works in the security department but she wasn't on site yesterday. Both of our buildings are about 1/4 - 1/2 mile from where it happened. I went over to the building that everybody evacuated to, and saw the federal agents and SWAT getting ready to go in... Those guys were ready to go in and KICK SOME , they were hardcore!!!

Why don't you start or end it at Rocket Park? Its free to the public and right there at the main entrance to JSC.

there is a memorial service for Beverlay at the space center teague auditorium on Wednesday at 10:00. You'll have to have access on site to go there. His church is having the sevice on Thursday i think at 11:00. We are going to send around the email for a ride to all of the JSC riders. I've heard there are over 500 on that email list. I'll keep all of you up to date on any emails i recieve. We may also rename the the group from the JSC space riders to "Beverly's Space Riders"
