At 14,500 miles if it hasn't been dogged it's probably in good condition.

We'll do a visual inspection and test drive free of charge.

We check brakes, chain and sprockets, transmission, fork seals, shock, steering head bearings, tires, oil level / cleanliness, headlights, taillights and signals. We also look for signs of any crash damage and if everything looks straight.

From there we can usually tell you what shape it's in.
Make sure to let us know you're on Moto Houston.

If you'd like a compression test, check air filter, plugs etc. then we charge $68.00 - $85.00 depending on the bike.

+1 on the MSF and gear.

I have never bought a used car or bike before so please help me out if you guys can.

After I buy this bike, what other steps would I need to take in the title and everything in that field?

Transfer of title and so on.

YOU FORGOT ONE KEY QUESTION IN DETERMINING VALUE.....

is it a Clean or Salvage Title.....they are worth 2 very different prices.

All you need to transfer title is your ID, the title, and insurance. and if it's an out of state title, you'd need the VI-30A form when you get a state inspection.

If you're not getting the title RIGHT AWAY, make him sign a BILL OF SALE!

That why, after he pays the bike off or whatever, he can get the title transfer forms, have you sign then, and they'll mail you the title. I might of missed a step but that's all I had to do.

i think the miles are rated at like 5000 a yr kinda like cars are 12000 to 15000 a yr, so and 04 should only have something like 15000 miles so it sounds like a good deal, has it been maintained?
