bicycle odometer or just upgrade to Vapor guages....the Vapor is only $120 and has engine temp, outside temp, speed, RPMs

My XRR has talon hubs, so I use a Trail Tech speedo, which has trip meter functions. But in all honesty the batteries in mine has been dead for months. I usually just run til it starts sputtering, and reserve is plenty of capacity to find a gas station.

I guess if you really wanted to keep the stock tripmeter, you could respoke/re-rim the stock hubs, but the tripmeter is going to be so far off, since it's calibrated for a 21" front, not a 17".

I really want us to wheelie the heck out of our bikes as we usually do... but my wife wants me to go with her to the euro meeting on Thursdays now. I guess I can understand her, I would be going crazy without being able to ride at least once a week. Is everybody set on Thursdays? Can we switch to Wednesdays instead? If that's not possible I guess I am going to have to split every other Thursday between you guys and the euro meeting

True about the trip meter being far off... It seems everybody likes the vapor... I'll take a look at them. Any particular model?

We use to ride on Tuesday nights, doesnt matter to me really. This week might be a tad wet. But if the streets are dry Im down to watch u guys wheelie

Get the Trail Tech Vapor, the endurance model kinda sucks. I can help install it if u need help.

The EURO meet sucks BTW too much yapping and not enough riding.

I think I am going to order the vapor along with excel wheels with talon hubs. I will certainly take you up on your offer to help install the vapor.

What gear ratio should I get with the new wheels? I would like something middle of the road... A good compromise between wheelies and speed.

I'm in, and a buddy from the north is going to be borrowing my XRR.

Hopefully Byrd strings together a good route, like always. I still haven't learned half of where we go.
