Id about kill for a superenduro. Or maybe a 990 baja.

And yeah, just like when I did the TAT... it wouldn't be any fun if it were easy!

I thought about putting the lowering link on mine so I could reach better, just didn't know how bad it would affect the handling and wheelies I like to do.

It would make the wheelies easier.

Well you could have bought the one on Ebay. It is going for 8k and it is in Florida. I'm sure you paid close to that for the SMC if it was a 2010. You better get some platform shoes if you buy one. It is the tallest bike I have ever owned. I'm 6'4" and I couldn't touch flat footed on the thing. The guy I sold it to had to jump on it like it was a horse. I think he ended up strapping a step stool to the back to help get on and off the bike.

Anything that raises the front end makes wheelies easier. Just like doing wheelies up a hill.

Lowering the rear will effect handling, but you may not notice anything.

That Sucks. My wife has degenerative back disease as well. Almost 5 yrs ago she had to have a 2 level fusion. She still has pain but it is not demobilizing and no more numb legs. I've got a compression fracture @ T12 and Herniated disk @ C6/C7 that have been giving me problems.

and left leg to the knee stays numb, right leg to the knee on fire and time to time shooting pain into my right foot. It's been 4 years and I am just getting used to it. The 2 days after our Ant Hill ride I couldn't tie my shoes lol.

I usually use ktm-parts.com... whatever you do, don't order from munnracing.com. It's a two man show over there and Chip Munn will hold your debit card info and charge you for stuff you never ordered, weeks after your original invoice. Happened to me and two other people I know personally.
