I don't think so. You missed me slipping and sliding on all corners. Talk about fun.

Procycle sells excell

If it were me (I just did this for an xr650r) I would go with Warp 9....

I had heard Warp9 weren't very good on a XR650R ... why do you prefer the warp9s over the excels/talon ?

If you got Talon/Excel money then by all means get the best
but when I was building mine I was on a budget. I read all the he said she said about Warp 9 on various forums. Also there is a guy here locally who wrecked at GSS and tore his Warp 9 wheels up but he low sided into the curbing. Ive seen plenty of Warp 9 wheels on various bikes and not one has had any issues. Longboarder on this board has Warp 9s on his XR650R and has had 0 issues.

I went with Sun Rims and stock hubs but again, if it were me and on a budget again Warp 9s would of been my choice.

thanks for the reply Byrdman... I am not necessarily into money away, with that said I do love my big red pig and plan on keeping her forever, so, with that in mind I want to make sure every single upgrade I spend money on is going to last, be reliable and safe. I will definitely give Warp9s a second look now. They are significantly cheaper.

yup I had planned on keeping my BRP forever too (especially after dumping $2k into the motor) but came across a smoking deal on my 690SMC I couldn't pass up. Then the BRP just sat in the garage

Too mad I missed out last night :bang head: but I was on some pretty heavy pain killers Talk it over with Chad, he won't steer u in the wrong direction.....

I have had my Warp 9's for ~1.5 years and no issues yet. Just tighten the spokes occasionally, but that is required on all wheels. The finish has held up nicely. I did black rims with red hubs and it looks good on the brp.
