Laguna Seca Track Days?

Does anyone know where I can do a track day at Laguna Seca? Which organizations regularly go there? I've only had luck finding superbike schools but I am just looking to ride the track similar to what ridesmart is doing.

Thanks for any help.

I could be wrong but they have very very strict noise regulations there. No aftermarket exhausts are allowed....

I'm trying Keigwins this year. Code is only doing 2day camps there now. I've heard they've failed people with stock pipes before (though I've never seen it) I used my decible killers and didn't have a problem with some loud Leo Vince's. I think Keigwins refers to someone who sells decible killers on their site.

What you can also do is go the the laguna-seca site and take a look at their calendar. They'll show the name of the orginzation and motorcycles on the days they have set aside.

When i rode Laguna on a BMW 1000rr, even with stock pipe, going up the hill towards the sound antenna, you were not allowed to ride under 5th. gear so the bike meets the allowed decibels. Other than that everywhere else is cool.

Keigwins just released their calendar for 2014. Plenty of Laguna dates. I was hoping they'd have a Laguna day and a Sonoma day within the same week to do both.

The noise limit is due to the houses/country club all around the track. There is a stand between turns 5 and 6 that measures the noise. However, uncomfirmed talks say they ride around meassuring the noise.

I'm always baffled by people complaining that a race track (especially a world wide famous track) is "too loud".

I mean, i understand that the neighbors hear it and dont like it....

but..

A couple years ago a bunch of people living close to KCIR(Kansas City International Raceway) petitioned the city and got it closed down. The drag strip had been there since 1967, none of the neighbors had been there even close to that long. Some people just don't think outside of their own little box.
