once you do your black coat, you should get some masking tape and run two strips of it across the bike about a 1/2" apart and then spray the 1/2" gap with the white paint. Racing stripes!

Then after that go to the DPS and get your license! it's extremely easy and cheap.

Probably a of a lot more than getting a license and registration.

Cops are usually pretty decent until you break any laws, then they are unfriendly.

I guess because I just bought this bike and got it running makes me a squid. Never mind the two I've owned for the last 7 years. So I'll take whiney squid over dumbass cop. Maybe that's what's wrong with the system. Cops work off assumption!! Guilty until proven innocent not the other way around.

No. Whining about getting cited for stupid that was obviously stupid to have done is what makes you a squid. There are a lot of things 'wrong' with the system, but in this case the system worked just fine.

My take on the whole thing is that you probably got pulled for speeding/improper lane change and it all spiraled down hill from there. At least he was nice enough to let you know you need to paint your bike to avoid further conflict.

My advice: get your bike legal and a license. If you're going to do something illegal(like speed) try to limit it to one illegal thing at a time. Works for me. When you're doing five illegal things simultaneously your chances of getting busted go up quite a bit.

LOL...Totally disagree..Most Cops hate bikers but that's going off-topic. In this case the Cop was really friendly with the OP. Cops can take the bike if you don't have an "M" endorsement.

Pointed taken and respected. Still totally off the whole reason of this post. And there was no whining about the tickets. I VERY CLEARLY Simply said I got them and needed to paint my bike. Anyways bike is painted with first coat attorney taking care of the rest. Have a good night fellas!!

Well the way I see it you broke the law, no matter how to look at it. Take the advice from others and get your M endorsement and your bike legal and your tickets usually gets dropped. Also take defensive driving and maybe get everything dropped if eligible.
