Biker or Bike Rider?

So I'm curious...

At what point is someone not just a "Bike Rider" but a "Biker"?

What would you all say classifies someone as an actual biker versus someone who just rides (on weekends, days off, etc...)

If you would give up riding for a girl...then youre a bike rider. If you'd say, I rode before I even knew you existed, and i'm gonna keep riding...then youre a biker.

I think if its between option A and B I pick bike rider... If I dont have to chose then I pick I love to ride and ride when I can! I have no title when riding.

I think some of you are missing the point.... it's not choose one you like...it's what is the difference between the two! When is someone no longer someone who rides on a motorcycle but what you would refer to as a "Biker"????

:laughing6 how can you use a word that has "bike" in it (sportbike) but steer clear of the word biker when referencing someone who rides a "sportbike

It's like saying "Jimi Hendrix played the guitar, but I wouldn't call him a Guitarist!":laughing6 :laughing6 :laughing6
