you need to get to a race license school 1st .

Not sure if FastLine is doing 1 before the 1st round but LSTD will be doing 1 the Friday before the race weekend.

I believe CMRA does the Friday practice/prov nov school before the first round at MSRH each year. LSTD's first date appears to be March according to their schedule.

Get license class out of the way then work on the ancillary cost of going racing ($420 for a transponder or you can rent for $50 and they're going up, $140 for your license). Get your corner working out of the way. If your lucky, get in on air fence tear down because as counts a full credit for an hours worth of work. Work on getting your bike to pass tech. Learn the rule book. Don't fall down.

If all I do is get my Prov nov requirements done this year, I'll be happy.
