All while skiing. So many people get injured and killed skiing. He was wearing a helmet too when his head hit a rock. He had surgery to release the pressure in his head. Aka cut his skull and took out a chunk. I've seen it a lot when I was in rehab.

Trephination is likely what he under went, it's basically a drilling of the skull to relives intracranial pressure.

Maybe famous people shouldn't ski. They seem to always get jacked up.

Hope he pulls through. Been a fan of Shume from the beginning of his carrer even though he pulled some low blow passes here and there, he always fought for the win.

Sad to see this as well. I became a big fan when there was some info leaked that he had given 50million to a charity here in the states anonimously. Hope he recovers those these things always leve permanent damage.

Quick on a bike too. The first time he retired from F1 he tried Casey Stonerís world championship-winning factory Ducati at Valencia and was just a fraction over five seconds outside of Dani Pedrosaís lap record. That's mind-boggling particularly knowing that that particular motorcycle was notoriously hart to drive. That's when he stated racing super bikes in Germany.
